I am a recent PhD graduate from the Percy FitzPatrick Institute, University of Cape Town. I am a behavioural ecologist, my thesis investigated adult-offspring interactions in pied babblers (Turdoides bicolor). My main interests are in investigating how ontogenic changes in costs and benefits affect animal behaviour, variation in animal cognition and its consequences and parent-offspring conflict.
